The familiar faces of Leo Gorcey and Sunshine Sammy Morrison are here, and there's another appearance from Dave "Reefer Madness" O'Brien. The director was Joseph H. Lewis, who later directed the archetypal noirs, "Gun Crazy" and "The Big Combo."
